What is ICM?

ICM (Independent Chip Model) estimates each player’s share of the remaining prize pool based on chip stacks and the payout structure. Tournament chips are not equal to cash pay jumps and survival change chip value.

Models explained
  • Standard ICM: Uses the standard Independent Chip Model to calculate payouts
  • Min-Cash ICM: Calculates Standard ICM first. Only players whose Standard ICM value is below min-cash are raised to min-cash, funded proportionally from players above min-cash (without taking anyone below it).
Important: This calculator is only used to suggests deal splits. It doesn’t change the official payout ladder unless all players agree.
